The second day in Dresden I decided to go with a mini plisse sundress, in yellow, a light colour that attracts a lot of attention. The dress has a neck fastening strap with wooden buckle detail.
With the cobbled streets of the Saxon city in mind, I chose again my long gladiator style sandals which gives a sweet look from the ground up, ankle-tie fastening, toe loop, flat sole, very comfortable for summer.

This outfit would work equally well with high heels, should you wish to wear it for a night out in a restaurant or bar.
The architecture here is phenomenal, not only because of its sheer beauty, but also given the fact that it was completely rebuilt after being totally destroyed during bombing raids in 1945. The Lutheran Frauenkirche, or ‘Church of Our Lady’, pictured here was completed in 2005 after over a decade of construction, and exactly mirrors how it looked when originally built in the 18th Century. The rebuilt church is a monument reminding people of its history and a symbol of hope and reconciliation.
