What do you think of denim dresses?
It seems to me that they are always sexy, comfortable, suitable for many occasions, especially for traveling, and they do not wrinkle in your suitcase.
All you need is a good pair of shoes with a practical handbag and the look is solved in the most glamorous way.
I found this indigo blue dress in Salsa, my favorite jeans store. Although it is long-sleeved, this dress is cool for Spring, although it is not suitable for hotter days.
I had a planned trip to Barcelona in February. As it was a unusually warm day, I put it on to visit the sights.

Here I am in the Park Güell, a public park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill, in Barcelona.
Carmel Hill belongs to the mountain range of Collserola – the Parc del Carmel is located on the northern face.

The park was designed by Antoni Gaudí, the renowned architect and the face of Catalan modernism. It was built from 1900 to 1914 and was officially opened as a public park in 1926. In 1984, UNESCO declared Park Güell a World Heritage Site.

Now that we are entering Summer, and it is warmer, denim dresses are a very good option, especially if they are made of lighter modern denim fabric which is much more breathable.
This season the denim dresses are not as you expect them, but much more feminine and flirty.
Once again, the choice of accessories will be decisive in getting a denim dress right. I opted for a matching denim ‘train driver’ style hat and aviator sunglasses.

Spain and especially Barcelona ranks as the best place in Europe for expats wanting to enjoy life, and second overall, just behind New Zealand.
This is the real reason so many people choose Spain over other countries, you simply just feel better and more relaxed in this balmy atmosphere.
I also visited the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, a large unfinished Roman Catholic landmark in Barcelona, also designed by Antoni Gaudí. The building combines Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms.
It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.
Gaudí devoted much of his life to the project, and he is buried in the crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was complete. Relying solely on private donations, the Sagrada Família’s construction has progressed and continues to this day.

This is an ideal look heading into sunnier days.
I dare you! Go for it! It’s an assertive choice.
